Andrea Corr

Andrea Jane Corr, MBE Andrea Jane Corr, MBE is an Irish musician and singer. Corr made her debut in the year 1990. She was The lead singer in The Corrs, a Celtic folk rock and pop group The Corrs along with her three elder siblings Caroline Sharon and Jim. Andrea Corr is an Irish performer, songwriter and actress. Andrea Corr was awarded the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire was awarded to her and she is also recognized as a member of The Celtic Folk and Pop-Rock band The Corrs. The lead singer and multi-instrumentalist of the Corrs, she also serves as the group's leader. Debuting as an actor in 1991 Andrea then became an accomplished musician and stage artist. She sang in the playback of Warner Bros.' 1998 animated feature film The Quest for Camelot. Andrea's six studio albums are complete with two compilation albums as well as three live albums, and a remix album. Additionally, Andrea has also received awards for her work in the field of humanitarian aid. Andrea has two children together with her stockbroker companion. Andrea started her musical lessons with the tin whistle. Gerry helped her learn to play the piano. Andrea also plays the ukulele. Her teenage years were spent polishing her music skills. She started by singing alongside her family members as well, before she became the lead singer in the band. Andrea was a part of many shows in the Dun Lughaidh Convent.
