Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Gonzalez Collins is a Mexican American sportscaster. She currently works for ESPN as a news anchor for SportsCenter as well as occasionally hosting SportsNation. The first time she worked at ESPN in the year 2016. She is the daughter television reporter Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta has been bilingual since her age of nine. Her skills were instrumental in securing her first position as producer assistant at Univision Miami and Univision Miami, where she worked with the producers of programs like Nuestra Belleza Latina and Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud. Then it was announced that it was the CBS channel that is located in St. Petersburg employed her as a reporter in the sport field. Then she moved to Rio Grande Valley in 2009 to work as a reporter on one of the Spanish channel KNVO TV 48 Univision, and Fox2 News. The newscast covered stories related to immigration as well as trafficking in drugs on both sides of the Texas-Mexico border, she was a reporter for newscasts at 5 p.m. Spanish newscast a anchor, reporter and reporter of anchoring the 9 p.m. news in English as well as another reporter for the 10 p.m. Spanish newscast. They eventually moved towards Mexico City where she was born on November 22 1985. She is younger than her sister. The family in 1992 quit Mexico and relocated to Miami. In 1992, her parents separated and shortly afterward in 1995 she got married again Fabio Fajardo, a naval engineer who passed away in the year 2006 due to kidney cancer. It was on a holiday in the summer that she lived with her younger sister in Canton Ohio where the older Collins girl got an employment. A senior at high school, but with a clear idea the direction she was going to take for her life, Antonietta attended the University of Mount Union to assess if it suited her needs. She loved the campus. They also offered her the degree she wanted. She finished her education and was accepted into the University as a major in media studies. The professor she had was Mark Bergmann, who managed WRMU FM and was a member of her class, formed a strong relationship with her. His enthusiasm for journalism and confidence in herself inspired her. She, in turn, tried to meet the requirements of his boss and not let him down.
